Ilan Hartstein, M.D. Diplomate, American Board of Ophthalmology
Dr. Hartstein is a Board Certified ophthalmologist with over 28 years of experience. He has performed thousands of eye surgeries and has taught surgery as an assistant professor at the Jules Stein Eye Institute- UCLA and as a glaucoma instructor at White Memorial Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the California Academy of Ophthalmology and the West Coast Glaucoma Society.
Dr. Hartstein graduated cum laude from Columbia University in New York and with honors from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He performed his internship at UCI and a three year ophthalmology residency at Albert Einstein Medical affiliates where he was the chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in glaucoma at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA.
Dr. Hartstein is married and enjoys reading, history, foreign movies and cats. His hobbies include swimming, skiing and bicycling.
